I also started to hear on July 4, 2013. I didn’t know at the time that July 4th was the Egyptian New Year, marking the heliacal rising of Sirius, our sister/spiritual sun. At some point I will share the details of my own adventure. It has changed my life forever since the first moment it started.

I was browsing your site when I was reading about Biowell chakra musical tones.
I have been experiencing sound current all the time with different type of sound.
I hear high pitch sound 24/7. And hearing all type of sound during spiritual exercises.
I am one with the Sound. It guides me all the time. It is no longer putting effort like before.
It is happening effortless effort. I don’t even have to put attention to hear the inner sound.
I am using light and sound as healing modality with consciousness as medicine.
I used mantra and music as therapy combining with consciousness.

Hi there Kimba – just came across your site/blog whilst looking at the Sound Current on Google. I had a look too at the Essenes on The Holy Streams as I have been hearing the inner sound current for some time – once when sitting in bed the usual tone changed to a full roar and continued as I wandered to the light switch and thoughts and me were naught – the roar stopped as suddenly as it came – from time to time there is this deep change like a ringing resonance that roars calmly! and then fades.

Music is the medicine of the future but inner music is a medicine for the soul and a means to reach God.
They are ancient teachings which say that Nada (Om) is the creator of the Univers (physical, astral, causal). These Regions can be travelled by the power of mind. There are even higher universes, entirely spiritual, without any mixture of mind or matter, where only the naked soud has access…
So, Nada is the name of a stepped down vibration of the Original Vibration of God, After creating the spiritual universes, the Original Vibration is given the name Om, Nada, but in essence there is only one Audible Life Stream, as dr. Julian Johnson put it.
Only Perfect Living Masters can tell us about the spiritual Universes and what kind of “sounds” are heard there. But I think you already know this.Now, about my “experience” for the present, I can only hear a high buzzing sound and hope that my Master will improve it in time…

I remember when I was very young. There is a sound inside my head that I hear before I sleep with a pillow cover my ears and I did not know what it was. Just a pleasant feeling before I drift off to sleep. I lose it when i went to high school and “sleep” thru my life on the school and society expectations.
When I was in my 30th I start my meditation again more seriously as in more regularly every night and read spiritual matters. I notice that to ward the end of my meditation. That familiar sound arises, I cannot put it into words or play it to you with any musical instrument I can think of. The closest I can describe to you is like sound in the forest. I asked around and read about it but I could not find any real concrete answer.
Finally in 2017, I chance upon a book “the law of attention nada yoga and the way of inner vigilance” by Edward Salim Michael. Which has 5 chapters on it. It was clear as light without the filter of religion. It described it, teach it value and provide insight how to tune into it. Since then I can hold on to it even as I am typing now. He passed on a few years back.
I am very happy to connect with you. Through I have not met you, I feel close to you. I did not even tell my close friend or my family about it as I don’t know how to put it across to them.
I am sitting now in comfortable chair writing to you in a quite morning with the birds chirping outside the window. And I feel peaceful and joyful.
May grace do what is best for you according to your needs, problems and merits.

Hi Kimba: I’ve been listening to your music for almost 10 years now. I’m a music teacher (K-4), private drum instructor, and drum circle facilitator in Hollywood, CA. I have heard it for a long time. I heal myself with it and others who are sick I call in the light to them.
I think of it as a loud silence. And hear it as a hissing. I visaualize the holy light coming into my crown chakra and filling my body.
I say this prayer taught to me by my teacher. Stephanie Yatra Hurst who also did the light healing on me. Who “called in the light.” I knew it was real when I felt it so powerfully work on and in me. I had all kinds of experiences. And it always healed me of anything…
The prayer is this:
May the Holy Healing light fill me, surround me, protect me and heal me and bring about my highest good.
As I say each thing I visualize it for a while. I see the light coming in. Filling me up.
I may see white light or golden light. I see it whirling around me Sometimes it goes spiralling… round and round and round. Other times it might surround me like a cocoon.
Or to protect me I may envision being in a sphere of dark indigo blue light
This dark blue light is super protective and heal me. I feel the light going to all the parts of me tzhat need healing. Or I might specify each ⛈thing in words. Please fix my skin cancer my diabetes my …. whatever is wrong. I feel the light in me healing everything.
I often see huge luminosity inside my head and all a round me. Sometimes the room is filled with brilliant light, this happened when I was channeling the light to my Aunt Yvonne.
Because I knew she was dying, I saw her in her room surrounded by her children and I called the light into all of them. I was at my house, and I was blasted by this huge radiating light.
The feeling was so good I got blissed out and sat there feeling the light for half an hour.
When I woke up the phone rang and my friend Jane said Aunt Yvonne died. I was channelling the light to her right at that moment. So I think I was getting a contact high from her experience.
I worked as an art and music therapist in a psych hospital for teenagers for 30 years…
I still do. I stumbled on your talk and read your article. And it has joined up so many dots for me of extraneous information I heard of thru the years. Thank you for putting all this together and mentioning all the different sacred traditions that acknowledge an worship and know of

I need to learn about sacred geometry because that would they’ll me how the sound and the pictures images symbols and mathematics and geometric pictures are related… working together. I see such amazing things in art therapy, almost miraculous…

Hello, my name is Justin and I’m a 20 year old college student.

I was very curious for a while as to what was happening to me and you made it pretty clear what it was. I’m very grateful for that.
I’d like to add that when you recited the prayer, the first time I heard it (I tried to replicate it by listening twice more), when you rang the bell I had my ears start to vibrate and I began to what I can only describe as fall deeper and deeper into my mind with each ring of the bell, and my heart was pounding.
My first experience that struck me was when I was 17 or 18 but I was still in highschool. I was in a meditation room at my friend’s grandparents farm, and I was under the influence of LSD, though I have since stopped using drugs to get to a high state of consciousness.
I was in the meditation room, sitting in a rocking chair, and I had my eyes closed focusing inward on the visuals I was having; suddenly I heard sounds, I’ve described these ones as a Doppler effect, my guess is tuning into a higher vibration and possibly hearing energy move around me.
Then it grew stronger, and I began to hear a ring, growing so loud it was deafening. As this was happening the visuals I was having was that of the Egyptian eye of Ra or Thoth, and at this point I was laying on the ground shaking.
To this day it has been one of the most powerful experiences I’ve ever had in waking consciousness, albeit an altered one.
I have only once been able to replicate this in meditation, and it was not to such a powerful degree as was the first experience, I did hear the Doppler or energy moving around me, again I’m not sure if this is similar to any experience. I haven’t met anyone else who’s experienced this yet and I’ve just found your site.
I have had only two other experiences like this one, and they were both in my sleep.
My first one was a dream where I was at an old friends house, sitting on a picnic table outside, talking to my old teacher, he said “you should have a look at this book”. When I opened it I found symbols that I couldn’t read, it looked ancient, and I began to hear the deafening ringing noise, and suddenly a shock throughout my whole body that woke me up instantly.
The second dream I had, I was taking a nap after school. and I remember there were many colorful birds flying in the sky, and they looked almost plastic. They began to all converge into one larger version of the same bird. As they did the ringing noise picked up and I remembered that that was an important noise. So I tried to stick with it as long as I could. At this point I was aware I was sleeping, and somehow I managed to stay in the dream.
The noise grew so loud I was scared I would go deaf and turned to put my ear into the pillow. When I did I woke up but was still in a dream, I saw a man, with black hair that was short enough you could see the top of his head, facing me and bowing next to my bed. When I saw this I freaked out and woke myself up.
I am not sure if this helped you at all or if there’s any information or teachings you know of that could help point my way, but Im so grateful either way for you helping me see that this is not something I should fear.

Now, my interest was in the page “NADA BRAHMA
-THE UNIVERSE IS SOUND”.
You wrote there: “Sikhs refer to the “Cosmic tone”– this was the foundation of their teachings.”
I am quite versed in Sikhism, read the Granth Sahib. Sikhs say that the Universe was created by a single Word of the God. The Transcendent God expressed Himself in “Naam” and “Sabad” that created the world. “Naam” and “Sabad” are the Creative and Dynamic Immanence of God.
