The Sacred Science of Sound

Luncheon and presentation on Friday June 15th, 2018  11:00 am
Posted also on the Boulder Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE) website

Every culture on Earth has described the creation of the universe as having originated from sound or vibration. Even modern quantum physics and superstring theory refer to “vibrating strings” the underly the fabric of reality.

Can this be why sound and music has been used since the beginning of human history for healing, midwifing birth and death, uplifting consciousness, unifying communities, and reaching toward the Divine?

Is there a science underlying these phenomena that can explain how something so intangible can be so profound?

Thousands of years ago a great being known as Thoth or Hermes brought us the principles of Hermeticism and alchemy– both physical and metaphysical. “As above, so below” is but one part of this profound philosophy. Cultures that embraced these principles seem to have found powerful “keys” to life, which Thoth and his followers such as Socrates, Plato, Gurdjeff, and numerous others, indicated to be musically structured and vibrational in essence.

In our discussion we will explore the theory which suggests that this knowledge may have allowed our ancestors to create many wonders and magnificent stone structures such as the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Terrace of Baalbek, among numerous others. The precision and magnitude of most of these creations defy the ability of modern technology.

Our discussion will also include the principles of cymatics, brainwaves, binaural beats, entrainment, various tunings such as Solfeggio and A=432 Hz, and what the Vedic scriptures and others refer to as Nada Brahma– the sound current. Kimba will discuss advanced Russian technologies that she includes in her practice that are based on vibrational medicine and bio-resonance– Biowell and Imago. To activate both sides of the brain, our explorations will be interwoven with live demonstrations of various overtone and harmonic-based instruments, as well as a group mind entrainment experiment.

WELCOMING SPRING— SACRED SOUND JOURNEY

Friday, April 19th 2019

5:30 – 7:30 pm

Doors open at 5:00, close at 5:30

Join Kimba and Rob on an intentional ceremonial sound journey to honor the Spring full moon, Good Friday, Passover, and Easter, which all fall on the same weekend this year.  People around the globe from all Faiths will be joining us energetically in their prayers and meditations on this powerful weekend, which on one level symbolizes the release and composting of what no longer serves our purpose and higher selves,

emerging from the cold of winter and embracing the rebirth of Spring.

The energy of nature is beginning to ascend/resurrect as we come into a new season of fruition and growth.

Participants lie on the ground and allow themselves to go on a deep inner healing journey as Kimba and Rob play various overtone-based instruments,

intuitively guided to accommodate and harmonize the collective intention and frequency of the group.

Kimba’s main instrument since 1992 is the didjeridu (now made from quartz crystal, which she designed),

but she also plays multi-chambered Native American Flutes, four-chambered Celtic flute, Tibetan and crystal bowls, crystal didjeridu, tingshas, Aboriginal bullroarer, various percussion instruments, and recites healing therapeutic mantras from different cultures… she will be joined by Rob playing gongs (Sun, Pluto, and Mars frequencies), crystal bowls, and Tibetan bowls.

As we begin the journey, we will ask you to hold in your field an intention that you want to send more harmony into, and let the sounds guide the way.

We will be culminating our journey with a water blessing communion, and a drinking of the water that has been placed

in one of our large crystal bowls and structured by the group intentions, prayers, and sound

Doors open at 5:00– start at 5:30, end at 7:00 pm.
