Using the Power of the Word to Create Reality
There was a time on Earth, not long ago, where the phrase “my word is as good as gold” was used… and actually meant something. There was a time when the words of humans were truly the communication of the force of creation, even “from the mouth of babes.” Apparently humans were given and acquired language to become mediators of First Source into form.
Stories from many cultures tell us that naming things was the first “occupation” of the original human… and it is more openly considered now that the many massive megalithic structures around the world very possibly used some form of sound, coupled with consciousness, to create them.
Certainly the growing understanding of the nature of reality– consciousness and form– being created by frequency and vibration is worth mentioning here…

Using the power of the word– vibration– powered with intention and consciousness– human beings are invited to co-create with the Divine.
Yet welcome to the current era– where languages, sub-languages, various dialects, and slang abounds… where computers and smart phones can even talk… and humans are in a flurry of one form of communication or another, at an almost non-stop frenetic pace– around the clock, every day.
But what is truly being communicated? What would be the percentage of the total communications in one day that were straight from the Source, in service to Source? What percentage of the communications on Earth would be impeccable, in integrity, and fostered the values that uplift and sustain life for all, in a harmonious way? This is something to ponder, and to consider in each of our lives– how we use language. What are we really saying? How much of what we say is really necessary, and how much of it is aligned with Truth?
If you put an “s” in front of “word,” you get “sword.” A sword can be used to cut fruit to feed others, or to kill.
Words have similar power– to destroy or create, to divide or unify. If you put an “l” in “word,” you get “world.” Does language structure the reality of the world we live in?
Perhaps humans are too often diffusing and therefore wasting the original Divine power given us– to create with the vibration of language, coupled with unfailing intention and consciousness.
It can be useful to reflect upon the following: how many times each day do we, or do we not, impeccably keep our word– no matter how small or large the statement? Are we like the Boy who Cried Wolf, who used his special cry and position foolishly… and then the power wasn’t there when he actually needed it? Now, at this time of crisis on every level of our planet, is our individual and collective Voice there to powerfully create harmony in the world? Perhaps we have forgotten how– or the importance and deeper meaning of integrity. Often the most important things are the simplest– and the hardest to find may be right in front of us…
The tool of language can certainly be resurrected now, in each and every moment, to uplift our planet. But each one of us has to be the change– and to resolve to use language impeccably.
May we, as a human family at this major turning point, regain our Divine birthright— by each one of us boldly stepping back into using conscious language— and thereby our role as mindful stewards of Earth, as co-creators with First Source/Creator. This means that we only say words infused with mindfulness, and are backed by a clear intent, and with love or at least compassion. Otherwise let the silence be golden.
Let us consider to reflect upon what we are about to say before speaking, and commit to only speaking truth, and following through with our statements. This insures that our communication is powerful, creative, and in alignment with Divine Will. On the day-to-day level, this means that we don’t say we are going to do something, and then don’t. And if we can’t, we communicate that clearly. We create disharmony in the minds and hearts of others when we fail to honor them with the gift of clear, integral communication, followed through with right action. Each lack of respect in communicating and failure in being integral with others creates ripples that go out and gather, collect, and eventually create collective waves. Like the flapping of a butterfly’s wings causing hurricanes in another part of the world… we are all more interconnected than we may realize. And if we fall short in our efforts, we can have the humbleness and courage to give voice to this, allowing for growth to emerge from that confession. Even if at first we only say it to ourselves– at least we are being honest and real. This is a start. This applies from the smallest interaction– conversation, text, email, phone message– to the largest imaginable, such as making major life decisions, or asking our Higher Self to be with us and guide us.
We re-create “the fall” in our communities and within ourselves every time we do not live in integrity and impeccability. Perhaps we individually and collectively enslave ourselves to a reality that at times seems to be falling apart at the seams, by giving our true power away– so subtly, but so constantly and pervasively. To create the world we would want children to inherit, we must be the change– to live it… by formulating clear will, intent, and then giving it voice and action.
Let us each add to a growing wave of bold and committed individuals, creating a new world together… for this simple yet profound shift in reality to emerge in our communities, on our Earth, and in our Cosmos.
