Gaearth is the combination of two words, “Gaea” (the ancient spelling of Gaia, the ancient name for Mother Earth) and the word “Earth,” our modern name for her. 

Gaea (or Gaia) was known as the primordial Greek goddess personifying the Earth, emerging directly from Chaos as one of the first beings in existence. As the “Mother of All,” she formed the foundational, matter/material/solid foundation for the universe.

The intention of Gaearth (and Heartherapy– the former name of the vehicle for Kimba’s music) is to provide graceful, sonic assistance for the gentle and harmonious awakening of all beings.  

Kimba’s music is created with all live instrumentation– not AI created or sampled music– and recorded on sacred days and in an intentional and ceremonial way.  She feels that the prayerful intentions encoded in the music can help deliver the prayers and blessings sent along the vibrational sound waves, and can help overcome the limitations of recording/digitizing/playback of the music (if it cannot be experienced live in a sound session or group sound journey).
